Matt Hare

Matt joined Align Ventures in 2026 and brings more than 20 years of principal investing and financial management experience. At Align, Matt supports the firm’s financial reporting activities.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a Partner & CFO at Huron Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm. His responsibilities there ranged from sourcing, structuring, and managing portfolio companies to fundraising and investor reporting. Before Huron, Matt worked at P&M Corporate Finance, a boutique investment bank focused on middle market sellside transactions.

Matt holds a BBA and MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
