Zach Busch

Zach joined Align Ventures in 2026 as Controller and brings 6+ years of experience in accounting and finance. At Align, Zach supports the firm’s finance and operational activities.

Prior to joining the firm, Zach was a Manager in BDC Finance at Benefit Street Partners, where he managed the BDC accounting and SEC reporting for the firm’s business development company. Before Benefit Street Partners, Zach worked at KKR as a Corporate Accounting and Reporting Manager, focused on consolidation accounting and SEC reporting, and began his career at KPMG as a Real Estate Tax Associate.

Zach holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida, and a Master’s in Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
