Neel Chary

Neel joined Align Ventures in 2021 and brings nearly 20 years of experience across venture capital, investment banking, private equity, and alternative investments. He currently serves on the board of Terzo AI and as a board observer for Radar.

Prior to Align, he was an Investment Banking Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group, advising on M&A, financings, liability management, and restructurings for some of the world’s largest companies. He has invested in venture capital for over 12 years across a wide range of industries as an angel investor, fund investor, board member, advisor, and fund manager. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industries Group at Bear Stearns and began his career as a Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan.

He holds dual degrees in Finance (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.) from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
