Matt Riley

Matt joined Align Ventures in 2026, bringing over 18 years of experience working in the financial industry.

Prior to joining Align, Matt spent 13 years at JP Morgan Asset Management, serving as an Executive Director in the Institutional Advisor Channel. In this role he advised Registered Investment Advisors, Family Offices and Institutions on public and private investments. During his time at JP Morgan, Matt received numerous awards for achieving top fundraising metrics relative to his peers and was inducted into JP Morgan’s Met Club (a group of recognized of top performers across the sales organization). From 2008 to 2013, Matt was a Vice President in Equity Research Sales at Stifel Nicolaus covering institutional hedge fund and mutual fund clients in the NYC region.
