Leif Lundaas

Leif joined Align Ventures in 2024. He has more than 15 years of buyside experience from both public and private markets, investing across multiple industries and geographies.

Before joining Align, he was a lead Midstream research analyst for Pickering Energy Partners. He also spent eight years as an investment professional at Solanas Capital (within Jefferies and PWP), focusing on long/short equity in energy transition, clean tech, and renewables. He began his career as a banker at Salomon Smith Barney and later did venture capital at Goldman Sachs.

Leif holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from MIT.
