Grant Hosking

Grant brings more than 15 years of venture capital, investment banking, operating, and private equity experience to Align Ventures. He sits on the boards of Figure and Scout.

From 2007 to 2018, he served as Vice President and Director at Stifel’s Investment Banking Group, completing a broad range of public and private capital market offerings and advising on numerous M&A transactions. From 2016 to 2019 he managed Light Street Investments, a private equity search fund, and co-founded Reserve Rentals, which sold to Domio in 2018. He has invested in notable ventures such as Spotify, Twitter, Uber, Instacart, Indigov, and Pinterest.

He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Richmond
